Designed to Navigate the Difficulties of Radial Access

Steerable Guide Catheter ( SGC)

The SGC is a sterile, single use guide catheter intended for both trans-femoral (TFA) and trans-radial (TRA) approach. It is compatible with 5F (or smaller) intermediate catheters, microcatheters and accessory devices.

The SGC has a handle that the Operator can use to manipulate (steer) the tip in one plane and rotate to the orthogonal plane to select the desired carotid vessel.  The catheter handle also has a feature that enables the user to stiffen the shaft for enhanced tracking and prolapse resistance.

Support Catheter

The system is provided with a dilator (to open a channel through the skin and fascia for guide catheter insertion), and the support or intermediate catheter (to provide rail support for the SGC to track into the selected vessel).

The Proximal SGC System is designed to eliminate the need for additional access catheters and dilators, minimizing cost and procedure. The Proximal SGC has been developed to become the "Gold Standard" for radial interventional access.

Key Features & Benefits

Active Planar Steering

Gives the physician direct, intuitive control to navigate challenging anatomy.

Reduced Exchanges

A single SGC replaces multiple conventional catheters, simplifying inventory and reducing waste.

Stiffening Feature

Gives the physician ability to stiffen the catheter to assist in its stabilization within the vasculature.

Enabling Radial Access

Unlocks the full potential and safety benefits of the radial approach for complex procedures with tortuous pathways.

Compatibility

SGC and Support Catheter system accommodates common accessories
